How Do I Fix Photo Dates in Bulk?

Fixing dates one photo at a time is hopeless past about fifty. Here is the quick way for a whole library.

Doing it by hand means opening each photo's properties and typing a date. At five seconds each, a thousand photos is nearly an hour and a half of clicking, and you will make mistakes.

Command line tools like exiftool can do it, and they are free, but you have to learn the syntax and one wrong flag can overwrite the wrong tag across your whole library. There is no undo.

Takeout JSON Metadata Fixer does the whole folder in one pass. It reads the date from the .json sidecar, or from the photo's own EXIF, and writes it where every app looks. Free for your first 500 photos, one-time $9.99 after that.
